 | Fashion changes every year, weather changes everyday, our mood changes every hour... how to create a surrounding which is adaptable enough to follow changes in our life? 'holodoor' is a suggestion of how to use a hologram to separate two spaces in our interior. Due to such a solution the appearance of the door may be changed according to ones mood. Furthermore, the only restriction is imagination since such decorative patterns as pictures, photos, different colors and shapes are available. For instance, by changing the density of a pattern, one may control the transparency. Surprisingly, the technology is very simple and does not require any additional costs. The door presented may go with any interrior regardless of style in which it was designed. The project was created for a competiotion organised by 'designboom.com'. |
